When the 50 year old, iconic canvas entrance canopy in front of the Purdue Memorial Union was “Hammered Down” by a delivery truck, the team at Merrillville Awning Company was able to help construct a brand new look to fit the building. Our team is well versed in building business awnings for locations throughout all of Indiana and Illinois. The replacement canopy was reconstructed to mimic the old design with some modern improvements to the frame structure and the graphics. We knew the design still had to be iconic and recognized easily. Working from our factory in Northwest Indiana, Merrillville Awning Company redesigned, fabricated, and expertly re-installed the new awning / canopy at Purdue University’s Memorial Union in West Lafayette, Indiana.
